§1 Course prices
The course prices apply according to the price list for the current season; previous price lists are no longer valid. When booking on site, the course fee must be paid in cash or by EC card before the start of the course. All prices quoted are subject to change.
§1.1 Reimbursement in case of illness
Reimbursement on presentation of a medical certificate: In the event of illness up to 24 hours before the start of the course, we will reimburse 100% of the course fee, after which no further reimbursement will be made.
§1.2 Reduction for small numbers of participants
For 4 persons: 2 hours course duration For 3 persons: 1.5 hours course duration For 2 persons: 1 hour course duration For 1 person: 45 minutes course duration
§2 Online store bookings
All bookings via our online store are only valid after receipt of payment. Payments are currently only possible via PayPal (credit card and direct debit via the payment provider PayPal are also possible).
Course bookings are only confirmed after receipt of payment. The Winterberg Ski School reserves the right to cancel or cancel bookings or courses.
§3 Weather conditions
Course cancellations due to weather conditions (force majeure) will not be refunded. If a ski course is canceled due to lack of snow, the student will receive a voucher. A cash refund of the course fee is not possible. If the ski course takes place in bad weather, there will be no refund.
§4 Cancellation / illness
Cancellation is not possible (except with a medical certificate - see §1.1).
§5 Ski course
The duration of the course is approx. 2.5 hours. Subject to change.
Course shortening for less than 5 participants (see §1.2)
There is no guarantee that the same ski instructor will always be available.
§5.1 Leaving the ski course
If a participant leaves the ski course, he/she must deregister with the ski instructor. In the case of children, a parent or legal guardian must sign out.
§5.2 Exclusion from the ski course
If a course participant behaves inappropriately, the Winterberg Ski School reserves the right to expel the course participant from the course. A refund is excluded in this case.
§5.3 Course participants
The course participant must be at least 5 years old (ski course), in the snowboard course at least 7 years old. A good physical condition is also a prerequisite.
§5.4 Cancellation of courses
The Winterberg Ski School has the right to cancel ski courses. A refund will be made in this case. This does not apply to cancellations due to lack of snow (see §3 Weather conditions).
§5.5 Performance class
In the event of an incorrectly booked performance class, there is no guarantee of a different place. The ski school has the right to cancel the course without refund.
§5.6 Overbooking
The Winterberg Ski School reserves the right to cancel courses in the event of overbooking or the absence of an instructor.
§6 Private course
For private courses, §5.1, §5.2 and §5.4 also apply.
§7 Liability
The Winterberg Ski School is not liable for accidents before, during or after the ski course. Each course participant must take out their own insurance. There is no insurance cover through the Winterberg Ski School. Likewise, we are not liable for events that occur when a ski course is left earlier.
§8 Safety
Course participants are responsible for their own equipment. The Winterberg Ski School reserves the right to exclude course participants from the course if they have the wrong or defective equipment with them.
Helmets are compulsory for children. We recommend that adults wear a ski helmet.
§9 Lesson time
The lesson time is as discussed/described at the time of booking (courses usually: 10 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. | private courses by arrangement). The Winterberg Ski School is not liable for lessons canceled due to e.g. traffic, road and weather conditions, traffic jams, accidents, etc.. A refund is excluded.
§9 Lift costs & ski rental
Lift costs are to be borne by the course participant. The course participant is also responsible for the complete equipment.
§10 Course ticket
Course participation is not possible without a course ticket
§11 Severability clause
If general terms and conditions have not become part of the contract in whole or in part or are ineffective, the rest of the contract remains effective. Status: 01.08.2024
