§1 Course prices
The course prices are valid according to the price list of the current season, previous price lists lose their validity. In case of booking on the spot, the course fee has to be paid before the course starts. All prices are subject to change.
§1.1 Refund in case of illness
Reimbursement upon presentation of a medical certificate: In case of illness up to 24 hours before the start of the course, we will reimburse 100% of the course fee, after that there will be no reimbursement.
§1.2 Reduction in case of low number of participants
For 4 persons: 2 hours course duration For 3 persons: 1.5 hours course duration For 2 persons: 1 hour course duration For 1 person: 45 minutes course duration
§2 Online Shop Bookings
All bookings via our online store are only valid after receipt of payment. Payments are currently only possible via PayPal (credit card and direct debit via the payment provider PayPal also possible).
Course bookings will only be confirmed after receipt of payment. The Ski School Winterberg reserves the right to cancel or cancel bookings or courses.
§3 Weather conditions
Course cancellations due to weather conditions (force majeure) will not be refunded. If a ski course is cancelled due to lack of snow, the student will receive a value voucher. A cash payment of the course fee is not possible. If the ski course takes place in bad weather, there will be no refund.
§4 Cancellation/ Illness
Cancellation is not possible (exception with a medical certificate - see §1.1).
§5 Ski course
The course duration is approx. 2.5 hours. Subject to change.
Course reduction in case of less than 5 participants (see §1.2)
A guarantee for a steady same ski instructor can not be given.
§5.1 Leaving the ski course
If a participant leaves the ski course, he/she must deregister with the ski instructor. In the case of children, the deregistration must be made by a parent or guardian.
§5.2 Exclusion from the ski course
If a participant behaves inappropriately, the Ski School Winterberg reserves the right to expel the participant from the course. A refund is excluded in this case.
§5.3 Course participant
The course participant must be at least 5 years old (ski course), in the snowboard course at least 7 years old. A good physical condition is also required.
§5.4 Course cancellation
The Ski School Winterberg has the right to cancel ski courses. A refund will be made in this case. This does not apply to cancellations due to lack of snow (see §3 Weather).
§5.5 Performance class
In case of an incorrectly booked performance class, there is no guarantee for another place. The ski school has the right to cancel the course without refund.
In case of overbooking or if an instructor is absent, the Ski School Winterberg reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses.
§6 Private course
For private courses, §5.1, §5.2 and §5.4 shall also apply.
The Ski School Winterberg is not liable for accidents before, during or after the ski course. Each course participant must take care of his/her own insurance. There is no insurance coverage through the Ski School Winterberg. Likewise, we are not liable for incidents in case of leaving a ski course earlier.
The course participant is responsible for his/her own material. The Ski School Winterberg reserves the right to exclude course participants from the course if they carry the wrong or defective material.
Helmets are compulsory for children. Adults are recommended to wear a ski helmet.
§9 Lesson time
The lesson time is as discussed/ described at the time of booking (courses usually: 10 - 12.30 o. 13 -15.30 o. | private courses by arrangement). The Ski School Winterberg is not liable for cancelled lesson time due to e.g. traffic, road and weather conditions, traffic jams, accidents, etc. A refund is excluded.
§9 Lift costs & ski rental
Lift costs are to be paid by the course participant. Likewise, the course participant is responsible for the complete equipment.
§10 Course ticket
Without course ticket no course participation is possible (except beginner courses - 1st day).
§11 Corona (Covid-19)
The current Covid-19 regulations of the state of NRW always apply. The most important points are summarized here.
§12 Severability clause
If general terms and conditions have not become part of the contract in whole or in part or are invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
